It is said that we all have psychic abilities in each of us. The day we were born, we were already gifted with such capabilities. However, as we grew up, we became too preoccupied with the world around that we tend to have gotten lost contact with our intuition. So, we slowly lost that.

Though we are not able to succeed at this the first time, you may want to do it somewhere private and where you can let go all of your feelings and thoughts.

Do not force yourself. Pressure is the number one enemy of being a psychic. The more you squeeze your brain and intuition, the lesser it will work. You have to relax, let go, and concentrate.

Keep a private space. This will be your place of refuge. When you need to meditate, take notes, or do anything free, do it here. It may be a corner of the house or a room where no one else has access to. This should be where you can remain undisturbed.
Practice, practice, practice. In everything we do and in every endeavor, practice makes perfect. You have to do it regularly because it is only by doing so that you may master the craft, especially meditation.
Keep track of your successes. Take note of the successful attempts you have had at psychic development. These will surely motivate you and assure you that you are doing fine.
Keep a journal. Sometimes, thoughts just come to us. It is necessary that you take them down so that you can review them anytime. And when you do, you might just discover a pattern which may lead to psychic development.
