A new crater has been found in Russia after a mass UFO sighting

Are the giant craters found in Russia connected with UFO's?
Russia has become without a doubt a magnet for strange things and UFO sightings in the recent years. Most of these phenomena, like the appearance of the giant craters go beyond any logical explanation. These mysterious "holes" have proven to be a challenge to the theories proposed by the scientific community.
Researchers have proposed that these giant holes are formed by the melting of the frozen terrain, which in turn release trapped gases that cause tremendous explosions after which these craters in the ground appear. But these of course are only theories that have yet to be properly studied by the scientific community. This has led numerous ufologists to suggest that there might be an extraterrestrial explanation attributed to them.
Most interestingly, the perfection of these holes seems to suggest they were created by something, and not by gas explosions or rising temperatures.
A couple of months ago, the Siberian Times reported the mysterious disappearance of a team of researchers from the Russian Academy of Sciences who were in an area of Siberia investigating one of these craters. Allegedly, there are reports that before contact was lost with the researchers, they reported a mysterious object that looked like a capsule in the inside of the crater.
According to a statement from the Siberian Times and the Emergencies ministry: At this moment their call ended, and we could not reach them again. When we sent a back-up helicopter to the site there was no sign of the three-man team. They have vanished. The crater was empty. Searching will continue throughout 1 April. [Rescuers] do not exclude that the men have been kidnapped.
The mysterious giant craters have continued to appear and their number has increased in the last six months.
According to the The Huffington Post, a resident of Kizel, in the province of Perm managed to record on video a mysterious object as it flew over the region.
Shortly after uploading the video on YouTube, many people claimed that it was the launch of a rocket, citing certain types of missiles which had the certain similarities to the object displayed in the video, some users even mentioned intercontinental ballistic missile of the Soviet era. Strangely, the theory suggested by skeptics could be incorrect since the nearest Cosmodrome is located at Baikonur in Kazakhstan, 1900 kilometers from where the "UFO" was seen. This is why, it is nearly "impossible" that the object that was seen over Kizel was a rocket launched from the Cosmodrome in Baikonur.
A week after the mysterious object was seen over Kizel, several residents went to the area to investigate the UFO that appeared to have "landed", strangely on their way, they encountered a strange crater in the ground, 20 meters wide. The story was reported by the Moscow times who wrote that a mysterious crater appeared in the village of Lunyevka, Perm region destroying a large number of trees and a part of a local farm.
This is not the only time that mysterious objects were seen in the sky and craters appearing without explanations on the ground. While residents of the Perm region ensure that these are catastrophic signs that point towards something worse to come, local authorities reassure that the appearance of these holes are due to the vast network of mines throughout the area. Although authorities say the appearance of these craters are caused by methane explosions in underground mines, many residents have claimed to have seen strange lights in the sky just before the holes were discovered.
