Russians are Skeptical that Siberian UFO was a Missile
Do you believe everything your government tells you? Russian don’t (duh), which is why there’s so much mystery and controversy surrounding a recent UFO sighting over the city of Omsk in southwestern Siberia. Was it a meteor? A missile? An alien spacecraft? A secret weapon? A response to the UFO/missile sighting in Los Angeles just days before?
The UFO was witnessed by thousand or more people early in the evening of November 17th. It traveled east over the sky and was seen in Omsk as well as in Tyumen, Tomsk and Novosibirsk in Siberia and Astana in Kazakstan. The UFO was widely reported by the media in the area and eventually worldwide, possibly because of a similar sighting just 10 days earlier in Los Angeles. That one was widely attributed to a secret test of a Trident missile launched from a submarine. Was the Siberian UFO a secret missile test as well? (Are there any other kind in Russia?)
Is this a secret missile lest?
Astronomers at the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies in Novosibirsk confirmed that the UFO was not a comet or meteor. They claimed the conical cloud was engine discharge from the second stage of a Topol intercontinental ballistic missile launched from the Kapustin Yar cosmodrome
in Astrakhan in far western Russia.
Well, not all of them. Others suspect it was a secret missile test launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome
in Arkhangelsk in northwestern Russia. In either case, if it really was a missile, where did it eventually crash, since its trajectory was over land?
Cities witnessing the UFO or missile and the projected crash site
According to the Russian news agency TASS, it was definitely a missile and it hit its target in Sary Shagan
, an anti-ballistic missile testing range in Kazakhstan. That sounds logical … except for the fact that, to reach Sary Shagan, a missile would not have traveled over Tymen and Novosibirsk.
Were there two missiles? Was one a decoy to distract Russian citizens or the U.S. military? Was it instead one UFO that traveled all over the area, visiting numerous Siberian locations and even an IKEA?
Are aliens do-it-yourselfers?
Like many who witnessed the UFO/missile sighting in Los Angeles, there are many Russians who don’t believe their government’s explanation. Do you?
