Which Path?

It feels to me like we are at that all pivotal fork in the road, where society will either jump ahead to its new station in life or miss the train and have to start over again. It seems obvious what with everything that is going on right now, that change is definitely in progress. Life as we knew it in so many ways has changed and a new way of being or doing has slipped in and become the new normal. It feels like now is the time for humans to shed their fearful outer shells and finally take the risk of beginning a new way of being. We have outgrown our old human shells, there is no longer space within to turn around and see things from a new perspective. That is dangerous. We must always have the space and clarity in which to consider new and hopefully more advanced/informed perspectives, if we as a society wish to move up.
I believe what keeps so many people locked in their present moment of reality and afraid to do anything new, is the false worry they harbor that they may take the wrong road, make a mistake, ruin their lives or end up worse off than before. There are no wrong roads to take, therein lies the myth. Every path we choose is meant to be for the lessons we may need to learn on that journey in order to grow. We do not grow when we are not being challenged. Tough times suck in many ways, but they hold great gifts within them as well. Moments in time when we can redefine who we are and expand our boundaries. Moments that help us become more than we ever realized we could be. Yes tough times are fraught with pain and angst, but it is our challenge to find ways to capture the good from these dark moments so we can keep going and growing. Our bodies would not like to have to endure wearing shoes two sizes too small all day long, why would our souls wish to occupy a space that no longer allows it the freedom to expand so we can become more of who we truly are? That too can be very painful.
The United States is in for major change no matter what, in the very near future. It is unavoidable. President Obama’s Presidency is coming to a close (whew) so now we will be faced with someone new. Either someone who works WITH us to change the world or continues to hogtie us and try to halt our growth. I would like to say the choice is ours, but given the climate of cyber attacks that have invaded our Internet system, one can’t count on an honest election. Scary, but then again, is this not a good time to exercise our faith that all will turn out as it is meant to for whatever reasons? Faith. We are being asked to honor our faith, to believe and to know no matter what, we will make things turn out right. It is why we are here, it is why we have been struggling to awaken. We are at the pivot point, we must decide what kind of world we wish to live in, and we must create that reality by standing true to our beliefs.
Autumn is a time for sorting things through and winter is a time for sitting quietly and putting those things into acceptable order. If you are having a hard time accepting the truth of what is going on, that your true reality is not what you thought it really was, then that is where you quickly begin your mission. First you have to accept that things are very different from what you had believed they were. Once you can accept that, you can then move on to discovering what is in your true heart and soul that you value and you then choose to live by what you see and believe, not by what you are expected or told to see and believe. Do not fear going left or right in the road, go where your heart tells you to go, there is no reason for doubt, everything is meant to be as it is. Believing and acting on your inner beliefs is what life is really all about. Stay strong and committed.
Blessings to us all,
