"Throughout the world there are men, women and little children who have not even the essentials to stay alive; they crowd the cities of many of the poorest countries in the world. This crime fills Me with shame. My brothers, how can you watch these people die before your eyes and call yourselves men?" Unknown
The upliftment of 'Man' is conceived by some notion that we can simply journey towards Understanding - that through experiential alone, we can understand the Glory of God... And it isn't unfair to say as much. The Great Rishis of India contested that it would take 1-million years of Sincere Living to achieve the ultimate understanding of God. That, through conscientious living, it will take sever hundred thousand life-times to unfold our Karmic Chains and find true freedom from ignorance.
The Average Human life is 65 years, if we live cleanly and righteously. We have examples in the world of people living upwards to over 100 years, however they are the exceptions, not the rule. We are guaranteed nothing in life.
We can discount the teachings of the great sages of times immemorial. After all, who were they?
Just as well, we can say, Who was Einstein? Who was Gandhi-ji? Who was Sri Paramhansa Yoganada-ji? Who was Sri Sri Larihi Mahasaya-ji?
The Ego lives its life believing that it contains all the answers. Through our experiences, we are faced with how little of ourselves and the world we know. Yet, there are some who believe that these are the best lessons...
Life Lessons are the best, but only through the guidance and wisdom of the Great Teachers can we learn the follies of our actions, and learn how to correct our course, so that we will arrive at Knowledge.
Einstein was a Physicist and Mathematician - he was also a student of Gandhi's. Gandhi was a Lawyer, who after returning to his homeland in India, saw the injustices and became an activist, after he met his Guru, Sri Yoganada-ji, a great sage Yogi who lived most of his life in the United States, and founder of the Self Realization Fellowship. Yoganada was a student of Sri Yukteshwar Giri, a student of Lahiri Mahasaya - who was believed by most to be the second coming of Christ on Earth - a Great God Realized Master who initiated many great Sages who've each realized God in their own ways - All these men are linked to a higher path - Lahiri's Teacher was said to be an enigmatic figure in Indian Culture named Babaji - his birth name long forgotten...
Every great mind was lifted out of ignorance by a great teacher.
Wisdom was passed down so that we can recognize our errors and false judgments, and correct our behavior and habits so that we can learn to live virtuously and morally - on the path towards Self and God Realization.
It was through life that they learned how to gauge their beliefs through the trials of their experiences. But it was the unwavering guidance of their Teachers that taught them how to correct their errors and learn from their experiences and to find upliftment, to stay the course.
We believe that the Path becomes easier with Understanding - but the truth is, it becomes harder - because we begin to see the energetic strings that motivate the instances of our suffering - ignorance is the key proponent to all our suffering. When we notice it in the world at Large, we learn that there is a cause and effect to our thoughts and actions - and deeper life lessons that the soul alone cannot learn without the benefit of the body.
The Religion of Narrative has done much to malign the world with false concepts - we read the words of wisdom from the unenlightened, and adopt their descriptions of the world as gospel - they do little to nothing to uplift the world. Some find benefit in the wisdom, but that is because all they needed was validation of what they themselves already knew - they were preassembled. But without the correct Technologies to guide us to end our own inner suffering, we are destined to repeat the sins of our past - because at a certain point, we realize that Realization is not founded in our Reasoning Mind. Our true upliftment can only occur through our Intuitive Mind - which is the providence of our Energetic Bodies.
The True Teacher teaches us how to live Spiritually - in act, not in word.
Our experiences are the domain of our body, rooted in our Reasoning Mind.
Our ascension is the domain of our Energy Body, rooted in our Intuitive Mind.
Some will dwell in their reasoning mind and believe the totality of their truths are anchored to their answers - we fall in love with the glitter, and call it reality.
But for others, after repeating the sins of their pride over lifetimes, they realize that our Bodily Experiences are not enough - they are merely a means to an end - to prop up the Spiritual Body so that it understands one singular expression - Unconditional Love... In that state of harmony, the Intuitive Mind is capable of comprehending the subtle tones that grip, hold and mould the cosmos.
Without Calibrated Guidance that is exacting in its process towards Enlightenment, the ego is doomed to continue revisiting the sins of repetition. Without the Guiding Hands of a skilled and knowledgeable Teacher, we will waste through our lives trying to arrive to that Seat of Knowledge. Kundalini Rises when we are free from the bondage of our ignorance... The Teacher sheds light into the darkest places so that we are able to face ourselves, and release that great serpent which bears the sweetest of fruits.
