Video clips of a fast-moving unidentified flying object over the
Denver skyline have baffled Colorado residents and aviation experts, who
are unable to explain the mysterious sightings.
“That is not an airplane, that is not a helicopter, those are not birds… I can’t identify it,” aviation expert, FAA accident prevention counselor, and former pilot Steve Cowell told Fox 31.
After
the television station received videos of the mysterious UFOs from a
man that has been watching them for months, the station sent its own
cameraman to make their own recording. The video shows an indistinguishable object moving at very fast speeds, greater than those of any aircraft known to man.
“It’s very strange,” Cowell said.
The
UFO moved at such rapid speeds that it could hardly be seen with the
naked eye. In order to view its path, the news channel slowed down the
video.
Fox 31 also asked the Federal Aviation Administration if
they knew anything about the unidentified objects, which the resident
who contacted the news station said appeared several times a week
between noon and 1 p.m.

checked with air traffic control and no one has had any reports of the
activity you described… nor have any of our employees observed any of
this nature either visually or on their radar displays,” the FAA wrote in a statement.
The
North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which monitors all
aircraft over the US, said they have no record of any aircraft flying
over Denver at the time the video was shot.
“Our command
center reviewed their records and they did not have any noted air
activity in the Denver area during the times you indicated,” NORAD said in a statement, making the UFO appearances even more mystifying.

man who brought the UFO’s to the news station’s attention said he
believes the UFO’s are launching and landing in a downtown Denver
neighborhood.
The station’s baffled reporters have asked viewers to send in their ideas as to what the flying objects could be.
Skeptics say the UFOs could be bugs, since the sightings occur during the warmest part of the day when insects are most active.
“There
are many obvious holes in the spacecraft explanation, not the least of
which is that it’s amazing that no one in Denver apparently noticed the
extraterrestrial spacecraft launching and landing in the skies over the
downtown area in the middle of the day,” wrote Benjamin Radford for Discovery News. “The most likely explanation? A bug or insect, probably a fly or bee.”
But
Fox 31 reporters said experts they interviewed ruled out the
possibility that it could be a bug, leaving the UFO sightings
unexplained.
