The
mysterious caves of Hua Shan are just outside the city of Huangshan in
Anhui Province and contains the largest and most impressive remains of a
man-made structure in China.
You find in the caves foreign structures, including giant stone pillars, and there are no paintings or writings found.
The origin of the caves of Hua Shan is shrouded in
mystery. Archaeologists are puzzled. A few years ago the city of
Huangshan called archaeologists, geologists and citizens to study the
caves. The one who could determine how old the caves were and for what
purpose they were made, according to a newspaper in Hong Kong get a
hefty reward.
Palace
Room 35 of the cave contains an underground palace carved by
people. It is the largest ancient cave that enriches China. The room is
170 meters long and 18 meters high. In the room there are 26 pillars
that support the ceiling.
In the palace you will find rooms, beds, bridges and gazebos that
ingeniously carved from stone.Underground ponds still contain very clear
water.
The caves of Hua Shan are surrounded by mysteries. First is the
Bishui pond, an underground pond so deep that three months of continuous
pumping wouldn’t get the pond empty not enough. Secondly, there are the
10 meter high pillars that support the ceiling. The builders knew of
theoretical mechanics and applied the mechanics. Finally, you will hear
no echo in the caves. Because the walls are placed in a certain way to
prevent the reflection of sound.
Bermuda Triangle
When the caves are carved is not known. Experts estimate is based on
minerals that are found in the caves and they should be at least 1700
years old
How are the caves carved? What were they? What happened to all the
rock that is removed? What was the purpose of the square and circular
holes in the pillars? Why are there no historical traditions found in
the gigantic caves?
The caves are found between the following coordinates: 29 ° 39’34
“and 29 ° 47’7″ north latitude. At this latitude are the Bermuda
Triangle, the Egyptian pyramids, Atlantis, the Dead Sea, the Sahara and
the Himalayas.
