Music to read by below:
Often times we hear people speak of difficult times as spiraling out of control. That seems like a very negative way of viewing the situation. Would it not be better to see it as spiraling inwards towards change and rebirth? The spiral is one of the oldest geometric shapes found in ancient art work. The spiral has been around since the beginning of time and has been honored in cultures world-wide and for good reason. It has symbolized the path leading from outer consciousness inwards to our souls and our core essence of being. The spiral stands for the cycles of change amongst many other things. We flow inward and outward on our journey as we shift and move from one station in our lives to the next, as we grow and expand into higher states of being. If you look carefully at the spiral you can see both pathways it creates within its shape, it flows inward on its spiral to the center or you can view it the other way and see it spiral from the center outward, just as we do. We expand and grow outward, then retreat and go within in search of a clearer understanding of who we are and where we are going.
It feels as if we are in a state of massive expansiveness right now as we push our boundaries to further and further extremes, yet at this moment in time we are also delving deeply within to find answers in figuring out which direction we need to go to move forward again. It feels as if we are fluctuating on a continual loop in and out and back again in a very short space of time now as we begin to close the gap on living only in present time. Life’s circumstances are demanding this of us as we struggle to come to grips with the fact life in reality is not at all what we had been led to believe. It is unsettling and so we search for ways to make sense of all that is happening to stay grounded so we remain in control of our lives we are just now discovering the truth of. At times it seems dizzying to swing so dramatically in and out of different stages of dimensional thinking. We are practicing much like we did in learning to ride a bicycle until we feel secure and in balance and no longer fall off.
Reality is so unstable at this time we must distance ourselves from it and focus on being in our hearts to stay upright and maintain a sense of well-being. Nothing it seems makes sense any longer, insanity swirls wildly about as everything appears backwards and up side down from the way it should be. This is not a time for the faint of heart. In our spiral inwards we must dig deeply for access to our heart spaces and settle within them. Answers to our confusion lie within as well as a peaceful calm from the wild ride we are on. At every turn we are being baited to fall for all the drama taking place to throw us off-balance so we succumb to the fear of it all. We know the danger of allowing that to overcome us! We continue to push outward as well from the spiral in our quest to grow beyond where we are being held captive. It is challenging going in two directions at once, but we seem to have a need to push forward, then check back in to discover more about ourselves, then we push back out and up into the emptiness of a new way of being, searching for more to life than what we are experiencing. The dance continues as we sway to the rhythm of our own music and reinvent ourselves once again in our creation of a new world in which to live.
Blessings to us all,
