Breaking: White House On Lockdown After Report Of Gun Shots

An individual was shot on West Executive Drive, just west of the White House, forcing the Security Service to place the premises on lockdown.

The victim’s identity is unknown, though he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition according to a fire department spokesman speaking to the Washington Post.
President Barack Obama is not on the property.
Emergency services have rushed to the scene.
