Bullseye: A massive mag 7.1 hits the centre of the Atlantic directly on the Equator

Whats the chance of massive mag 7.1 quake hitting the centre of the Atlantic Ocean directly on the Equator?
Well it happened this morning, a mag 7.1 - North of Ascension Island rocked the Romanche Fracture Zone, which is in the middle of the Atlantic and crosses the Equator.
NOAA have issued no watch, warning, or advisory details for a tsunami.
Todays major quake is the 13th of August, however three of these have been mag 7+'s.
It is also the 93rd major quake of 2016 and the 11th 7+ér.
