According to the new story over at the Free Beacon, more than 94 million Americans did not ‘participate in the labor force’ in the month of August. Up more than 58,000 from July, we’re also told that the labor force participation rate for August ‘remained steady at 62.8% while the number of workers involuntarily forced into part time work has also risen.
Just the latest numbers showing the dire straits faced by the American worker due largely to the failed policies of globalism, we have to wonder how a hundred million or more Americans will survive once it all comes crashing down. As we’re told by Dave of the X22Report in the 1st video below, there will be a major failure in the supply-chain as the global economy continues to deteriorate.
And as we learn from the Down Detector website and hear in the 3rd video below, major outages are now being reported from those receiving SNAP/EBT benefits from California to New York to Florida to South Carolina to Arizona to Nebraska and nearly every state in between. While at this time we believe this is not a total nationwide outage for if it were, we’d likely already be seeing videos of chaos in the stores, we still see in the comments of those who have yet to receive their funds how quickly things can spiral out of control with parents complaining they can’t feed their children and everybody looking for somebody else to blame for their hunger. What happens to these same people if suddenly and without warning, SNAP/EBT is no longer there to support them?

As we have been reporting on ANP, government’s across the world have been warning their citizens to prepare for a still unnamed event by stocking up on food, water and other necessities. What do these government’s know that we don’t know? While we’ve long believed in preparing for a coming storm, what about the hundreds of millions of Americans who still either live paycheck to paycheck or don’t have a clue about ‘prepping’? What of those who never heard the warning because they’re still getting their news from the mainstream media? We take a look at the bottom of this story at a very interesting theory sent to us by an ANP reader that might help decode the ‘elite’s master plan’ for the future.
As this new story from Michael Snyder over at the Economic Collapse Blog tells us, America is a debt pig… a ‘buy now pay later’ society and the ‘pay later’ part is rapidly approaching. In a new story from former Green Beret Jeremiah Johnson over at the SHTFPlan, we’re warned that everything looks to him like government’s worldwide are preparing for war. As Trends Forecaster Gerald Celente has long warned, “when all else fails in the financial world, they bring us to war.” The mess that our world faces is summed up perfectly in Johnson’s final paragraph republished below.:
So there we have it. The overall situation: the world’s economies are cascading, there is civil unrest throughout Europe, civil unrest is developing in the United States, the U.S. government and the nations’ governments are preparing for disaster and war, and powder-kegs exist in Syria, Ukraine, and with North Korea that can be touched off at any time. As everyone watches these developing scenarios, keep in mind that time is of the essence for preparing yourselves and your families. Possibly…and probably…we don’t have much time between now and the U.S. election, an event that may or may not occur in light of a world on the edge of a precipice, and World War III.

While ‘preppers’ across America have prepared for coming storms by stocking up ahead of time on food, water and other necessities, tens of millions of Americans are either spending every penny of their paycheck to survive for the coming days or weeks or spending it on non-essentials such as $2,500 handbags, drugs or pairs of $400 tennis shoes. What happens if suddenly the trucks that deliver the goods that keep Americans moving onwards stop running as asked in this linked story from Michael Snyder? Telling us that most Americans don’t even think about how the food we eat gets to the stores, Snyder’s story gives us this dire warning though we’ll disagree with him a bit about the exact timing of these events.:
Within a week, in roughly this order, grocery stores would be out of dairy and other items that are delivered many times a day. And by the week, the shelves would be empty. (ANP note: Snow storms in the DC area prove they’ll be out much sooner than that!)
Hospitals, pharmacies, factories, and many other businesses also get several deliveries a day, and they’d be running out of stuff the first day.
And the second day, there’s be panic and hoarding. And restaurants, pharmacies would close. ATM’s would be out of money. Construction would stop. There’d be increasing layoffs. Increasing enormous amounts of trash not getting picked up, 685,000 tons a day. Service stations would be closed. Very few people would be working. And the livestock would start to be hungry from lack of feed deliveries.
Then within two weeks, clean water supplies would run out. Within four weeks to eight weeks, there wouldn’t be coal delivered to power plants and electricity would start shutting down. And when that happened, about a quarter of our pipelines use electricity, and so natural gas plants wouldn’t be fed natural gas and they’d start shutting down.

As has long been warned, only 9 meals stand between civilization and total anarchy. In reading some of the comments over at the Down Detector website for SNAP/EBT as seen republished via screenshots below, people become very desperate very quickly when they have no food to feed themselves and their children.
While ANP stands strongly against people making a career out of collecting welfare, many people have fallen into desparate situations due to no fault of their own and we certainly understand their need. However, far too many others believe that they are ‘owed’ and lash out at the government for their children not having food in their stomachs as seen in the first two screenshots below. Even attempting to justify stealing while blaming the fact that their children are hungry on anyone but themselves, what happens if government is suddenly not there due to war being launched upon America, complete economic collapse, a total takedown of our electrical grid or massive cyberhack of our computer systems? Total chaos.
