Thanksgiving at Standing Rock
In case you don't know, the continuing saga known as "Standing Rock" is about much more than oil and water. It is the place where all tribes are uniting to show solidarity for our planet and for all people. As the US Holiday known as Thanksgiving approaches, many Westerners are feeling deeply called to connect and contribute to our Native brothers and sisters.
This weekend, a caravan of buses, RVs and cars will begin a journey from Southern California to Standing Rock, North Dakota. The good people involved are bringing hearts filled with good intention, as well as food, warm clothes and other valuable blessings.
I'm personally donating production services with the intention of helping to tell the stories that corporate media has been ignoring and burying. We are currently seeking tax deductible cash donations to make this possible. Please join us in our effort to tell a new story of Thanksgiving.
