Mobile phone footage has emerged of 'UFO' activity over Hanham.

Footage has emerged of a ‘UFO’ over the skies of Bristol – fuelling long-held suspicions that the city is a hotbed for extra-terrestrial activity.

Mobile phone footage recorded last week shows a triangle of unidentified lights flying over the skies of Hanham.

The light made ‘no noise’, according to Mike Westlake, who filmed the bizarre spectacle, and happened on a cloudy night when no stars were visible.

It is the latest in several sightings of suspect activity over the city.

There has also been one conspiracy raised that the Purdown BT Tower, about five miles from Hanham, is a ‘UFO refuelling station’.

Several lights were seen in the skies over Salto during the massive blackout that affected - and affects - a considerable part of northern Uruguay's territory, according to statements made by residents of Salto, Constitución, Belén, and part of Bella Unión as well as Paysandú.

Strange lights were seen forming the shape of a triangle, holding their position for far longer than a helicopter or aircraft would, adding to this the fact that the lights were considerably bright and were separated from each other by a broad distance, according to eyewitness statements.

The Uruguayan Air Force was the first in Latin America to create a UFO research commission 32 years ago. Several factors must be discounted when confirming an object as a UFO.

The Uruguayan Air Force (FAU) created the Comisión Receptora e Investigadora de Denuncias de Objetos Voladores No Identificados (CRIDOVNI), making it the first in Latin America to have an office devoted to investigating this phenomenon.

Its creation stemmed from the number of sighting reports received during the 1970s. Currently, with new technologies, the commission receives images and reports such as the one that recently occurred in Durazno.

To learn more about how an unidentified flying object report is handled in Uruguay, El Observador consulted Col. Ariel Sanchez, CRIDOVNI's president, whose agency handles tasks similar to those performed by the legendary "Area 51" in the U.S.A. in a sweeping comparison.

hovered for 5 minutes and vanished...

Shape: Triangle - Duration: ~5 minutes

Black triangle with yellow lights on either side of it. It hovered for 5 minutes and vanished after I took my eye of it for 1 sec.

I was driving and noticed an object hovering in the sky. It was black, triangular, and appeared to have a white or yellow light on either side of it. The lights were static and not flashing. The object did not move except for periodic lateral sways that were not that dramatic.

I pulled into a parking lot to stop and get a better look. With my eyes on it the entire time, I parked, and when I emerged from the car, it was just gone. No sign of it at all in any direction.

At the time I was viewing the object, there were 2 helicopters near by but flying low that appeared to be approaching the object from opposite directions.

After I had emerged from the car and realized the object was gone, I also realized one of the helicopters had vanished as well and the other one had turned back toward Albany.

It was strange.

SUBMITTER DESCRIPTION: After playing noon basketball in Billings Montana (1:30 pm), a reflection caught my attention in the sky. The object was in the general direction of the airport and high in the sky 60 to 70 degrees. At first I thought it might be a group of bright metallic balloons filled with helium, but the object was rotating in a regular manner with asymmetrical protrusions appearing in a cyclic manner. This made it unlikely that the object was a drone in my opinion. It was also not an airplane or a helicopter - and because of the bright shiny reflections not a bird or other object I could think of.

SUBMITTER DESCRIPTION: I noticed the glowing lights outside the aircraft window I was on board a spirit airlines flight from Baltimore to California this was about three or four hours into the flight.
