This report updates and discusses key elements of the missing doctor from the CDC, Timothy Cunningham, that disappeared on February 12, 2018. Facts regarding the missing doctor were reported incorrectly by the Atlanta Police dept and repeated by media sources, that the missing doctor had failed to receive a promotion and as a result, left work early that day, claiming to be ill and was never seen from again. This report will show that his failed promotion was never a factual concern, since Dr Timothy Cunningham was in fact, promoted to Naval Commander on July 1, 2017 in a public ceremony, where he was promoted by the Navy. Atlanta Police Department Major Michael O'Connor had initially said that on the morning of Cunningham's disappearance, the 35-year-old doctor spoke with his supervisor about a promotion that he didn't receive and expressed disappointment to several coworkers about being passed up for the position.
