UPDATE: New explosions have caused a large fire. Evacuations ordered: 1 mile in all directions. 10 miles south of the refinery. 3 miles east and west of the refinery. Details soon. An explosion has occurred at the Husky Energy oil refinery in Wisconsin, causing a fire and injuring at least five people, local officials say. The cause was not immediately known. The accident happened at 10:06 a.m. CT on Thursday when workers at the plant in Superior were attempting to shut it down for repairs. The blast appears to have involved a tank containing crude oil or asphalt.
