Spectacular Conjunction: Venus and Saturn will make a beautiful, super-close pairing for early risers on February 18th. Look toward the southeast an hour before sunrise. A pretty celestial sight occurs on the pre-dawn mornings surrounding Monday, February 18, when skywatchers will see rapidly descending Venus pass very close to distant Saturn. At closest approach on February 18, extremely bright, white Venus will be located 1 degree (a finger's width) to the upper left of dimmer, yellowish Saturn – placing both planets within the field of view of a backyard telescope. At that time, Venus will exhibit a waxing gibbous (more than half illuminated) disk. https://www.space.com/16149-night-sky... https://earthsky.org/tonight/venus-sa...
