Medical Doctors Across the U.S. Speak Out Against Mandatory Vaccination Laws

One of the myths propagated by the corporate-sponsored “mainstream” media is that medical doctors are united in their support of mandatory vaccination laws.
This is simply not true. The medical doctors and physician groups that have taken a stand against mandatory vaccination laws are almost never interviewed in the corporate media, and if they are referred to at all, they are called “quacks.”
The largest medical association in the world is the American Medical Association (AMA), which has strong ties to the pharmaceutical industry and probably represents more lobbyists in Washington D.C. than any other trade group.
And yet, less than 25% of the licensed medical doctors in the United States are members of the AMA, down from 75% in the late 1950s.
So it would be incorrect to believe that the AMA represents the views of most of the physicians in the U.S. They do not.
Two other medical associations have come out with statements against mandatory vaccinations in the past couple of days, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and Physicians for Informed Consent.
You will not likely find their views expressed in the corporate-sponsored media outlets dominated by Big Pharma advertising revenues, and you will not see any of them invited to testify in any government hearings to discuss vaccination legislation.
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) just issued a press release this week:
Forced Vaccination Unnecessary, Violates Human Rights, States Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)TUCSON, Ariz., Feb. 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — An outbreak of measles in Washington State is the latest news hook for efforts to tighten vaccine mandates and oppose efforts, as in Arizona, to strengthen protections for informed consent and parental rights, reports the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS).
In case states fail to follow California’s lead in eliminating all exemptions except for rare medical reasons, Congress may enact a federal mandate, AAPS notes. The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a hearing on Feb 27 on the measles outbreak. The Senate HELP (Health, Education, Labor & Pensions) Committee will hold a hearing on Mar 5 concerning preventable disease outbreaks.
“All medical interventions, including vaccines, have risks and benefits,” stated AAPS executive director, Jane M. Orient, M.D. “Physicians have the duty to advise patients according to their own best judgment, and patients have the right to decline to follow their advice. Patients also have the right to be fully informed and not restricted to governmentally approved information.”
Legislators need to consider the following, states AAPS:
- Vaccines are neither 100 percent effective, nor 100 percent safe. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid out nearly $4 billion for severe vaccine damage. It is the only recourse for injured patients, as manufacturers are immune from liability.
- The last U.S. death from measles occurred in 2015.
- Extremely high vaccination rates do not prevent all measles outbreaks and may even worsen overall harm from measles.
“Medical freedom is a basic human right,” states Dr. Orient. “Sacrificing it in the name of population health is likely to worsen public health.”
“Governmental preemption of patients’ or parents’ decisions about accepting drugs or other medical interventions is a serious intrusion into individual liberty, autonomy, and parental decisions about child-rearing,” states AAPS in a letter to congressional committee members.
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) is a national organization representing physicians in all specialties, founded in 1943. Its motto is “omnia pro aegroto,” or “all for the patient.”

Physicians for Informed Consent (PIC) was formed after SB277 was signed into law in California in 2015. According to their website:
The mission of Physicians for Informed Consent is to unite doctors for informed consent in vaccination, and educate the public on infectious disease, the immune system, and informed consent.
Our vision is to live in a society free of mandatory vaccination laws. And to live in a society knowledgeable about infectious disease, the immune system, and informed consent.
PIC also issued a press release this week regarding proposed mandatory vaccination laws, and the memorandum published by Congressman Pallone in preparation for Congressional hearings on this topic. This organization is dedicated to all the parents and legal guardians in California who lost their parental rights on June 30, 2015, when SB277 was signed into law and removed the personal belief and religious exemptions to childhood vaccination for both private and public school attendances.

Gross Errors Were Found in the Memorandum, Which the Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee Members Received, for the Hearing on “Confronting a Growing Public Health Threat: Measles Outbreaks in the U.S.” being held TOMORROW, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10AM EST
Physicians for Informed Consent has sent Chairman Pallone and the Subcommittee Members a letter which outlines all the mistakes, along with supporting documentation.
“In the introductory background section of the Memorandum for the hearing on “Confronting a Growing Public Health Threat: Measles Outbreaks in the U.S.,” it is written that “One or two deaths occur among every 1,000 children who acquire measles.” This is a critical calculation error, which requires your urgent attention and correction.
The second paragraph in the background section contains evidence of the error. It explains that prior to the introduction of the measles vaccine in 1963, “there were an estimated 3 to 4 million people infected with measles in the United States, and as many as 500 related deaths each year,” which is correct. However, this translates to a number of deaths which, at most, is one in 6,000 (3,000,000 divided by 500). More precisely, between 1959 and 1962, about 400 measles deaths occurred out of about 4,000,000 measles cases, which calculates to one death among every 10,000 children (0.01%) who acquire measles, not one in 500 or one in 1,000 as written in the introduction.
The reason this mistake unfortunately commonly occurs is…”CLICK HERE to continue reading the letter and view the supporting documents.
Most Doctors are NOT Vaccine Extremists
In spite of what Big Pharma and their government lobbyists would like the public to believe as they control most of the corporate media, most doctors are not vaccine extremists.
The extremist pro-vaccine view states that the “science has been settled” on vaccines (an obvious non-scientific view), and that ALL vaccines are safe and effective for ALL people, ALL the time, by force if necessary.
This extremist view, however, is NOT the majority view of medical doctors and scientists. To lean more about how other doctors view vaccines, see:
