What 'exotic propulsion systems' did the Pentagon work on ? Image Credit: YouTube / Northrop Grumman
New details have been revealed about the Pentagon's research into exotic propulsion systems and UFOs.
Interest in the government's role in investigating unidentified aerial phenomena received a huge boost back in 2017 when it was revealed that the Pentagon had been running a secretive $22M project known as the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program.
The revelation was unexpected, especially given that the last official government investigation into the UFO phenomenon - Project Blue Book - ended over 50 years ago.
Two months ago however, Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough threw a spanner in the works by telling Black Vault founder John Greenewald Jr. that AATIP didn't have anything to do with UFOs.
Now though, Popular Mechanics journalist Tim McMillan has further lifted the lid on the Pentagon's activities thanks to newly released documents from Bigelow Aerospace's exotic science division.
These files suggest that AATIP actually did investigate unidentified aerial phenomena and that it even looked into the effects of exposure to "anomalous vehicles" and "exotic" propulsion systems.
"What can not be overly emphasized, is that when one looks at the literature of anomalous cases, including UFO claims from the most reliable sources, the extent and degree of acute high but not necessarily chronic low-level injuries are consistent across patients who are injured, compared to witnesses in the far-field, who are not," the report reads.
In another Bigelow Aerospace document from 2009, there are even more references to sightings of unidentified flying objects and the effects of such encounters on biological organisms.
The investigators reportedly requested documents from the US Air Force's Project Blue Book and there are references to specific UFO cases, including one at a nuclear weapons facility.
The report even refers to Utah's Skinwalker Ranch as "a possible laboratory for studying other intelligences and possible interdimensional phenomena."
