On Twitter, Bret Baier, the Chief Political Anchor of Fox News, related a dismissal of rumors of a potential nationwide quarantine.
Baier tweeted, “A senior official on rumors of a nationwide quarantine: ‘There is an ongoing effort to spread disinformation and cause undue panic. There’s no national quarantine for the United States. It’s important we remain vigilant in ensuring our information is coming from verified sources.’”
Since the Wuhan flu outbreak, there has been a ton of disinformation being spread around the Internet.
Bonchie of RedState noted this:
Just yesterday, a news story spread that President Trump was attempting to bribe a German pharmaceutical company in order to secure a vaccine only for the United States. That turned out to be nonsense, as the “confirmation” by the German minister in question had his statement retracted, either due to it being misinterpreted or made up (see Media Push Story that Trump Tried to Bribe German Company to Hoard Wuhan Coronavirus Vaccine ).
Democrats and their media allies are likely capitalizing on the hysteria to cause enough instability to fully rock markets and cause a recession.
It is the only path to victory for them in the 2020 elections against President Donald Trump.
The Trump administration has remained calm and firm, nonetheless, during this outbreak.
Hopefully, the administration carries out more travel bans and a full shutdown of the border in order to promote national cohesion and make sure this virus doesn’t get out of control.
