CFL Light Bulbs Should be Banned

In case you’re not aware…
While we have had these in the US for awhile, our family tells us they are just now making their presence known in Canada and it’s more difficult to find traditional light bulbs.

I do also but did you know you don''t have a choice? They pulled the regular light bulbs off the shelves so you have to buy these. The others will not be produced any longer. So if you see them buy them while you still can.

I did know that!  But wally world around my area still sells the good light bulbs!  So does Dollar General.  Can some times find them at the local discount store.  I always stock up when I can!  I have some big candles too!  :)

Well for sure stock up.

I tend to go through a ton of bulbs... so I am hunting down the regular ones while I can also. I had a tenant over the summer that was doing a huge job for Com Ed. They are pushing these CFL's and offering HUGE discounts to businesses to convert. He did my facility for free. Over 100 bulbs, ballasts etc. He taught me quite a lot about these bulbs and the mercury inside. They have to be disposed of in a proper way also or they will leach the mercury into the ground. In other words... they are poison. Mercury seems to be a fave for the ptb to use on us.

I have heard that about how poisonous they are and have to be disposed of properly - that alone should set off bells and whistles for everybody.
