We sometimes wonder what it would be like to live in the ultimate tree house, but very few every think about building a 500 ton floating island. After being sick of the city life, Canadian couple Catherine King and Wayne Adams took to the water and build a homemade floating Utopia . Complete with a dance floor, four greenhouses, and art gallery.
As artists, the found it hard to make a living for themselves. So instead, they literally made a living for themselves. Except when they need to run into town, they spend 24 hours a day floating on this island with their two dogs. When asked if he got water sick, Wanye responded: “No, but sometimes when I go into town I get land sick”.
