Some notes from Monday 8-20 PTR CC with Tony Posted by SWI
Tony: It was a great weekend whether you know it or not. A lot of information going back and forth across from Iraq to the US. A lot of things happened in the other outlying countries over the weekend which are moving things forward. We were waiting for the end of Iraq’s Ramadan and then the three day holiday which actually ends today or tonight.
We have some information that we should see some upcoming announcements between now and the end of the month. Actually shorter than that, but between now and the end of the month is a good time. It seems like agreements are in place. Proof of those agreements have been coming out all over. I’m excited. They’re excited. They already an announcement schedule, they already have a television schedule.
A lot of people already know what’s being said and done. One the other side there is a lot of smoke and mirrors and things that are being put out this morning as far as rates, dates, times, groups and things like that. Some of it is true, some of it isn’t true. It doesn’t make any difference because as long as we get paid that’s all we care about.
Question from Florida: A couple of weeks ago you talked about that it was important not some much to have managed the chaos going on in the Middle East, but it was important to have made a decision on to how to manage the imminent chaos in the Middle East. And I wondering is that part of the decision making that was done this weekend that you’re so excited about ?? How to manage what’s going on ? Because once that determination was made, it sounded like we can move forward.
Tony: And that what it’s telling me. That determination has been made.
Questioner: That’s the foundation of everything we are saying today…
That, along with the schedule out of the Middle East, and I’ll tell you guys everybody is waiting for Talabani to get back in country. He was back in country Thursday night, Friday morning. So we already know that. So everything else you’ve seen and going to see is just a timed event. That’s all. It ‘s timing coming out. Decisions have been made or they would be doing what they are doing if it wasn’t.
Question from Florida: So they have now scheduled the announcement for the ministers to be seated etc. ?
Tony: Yep. That’s what it sounds like to me.
Question from Florida: Do you believe it is possible that high end money managers, people that own private offices, banks. Hey may run some small banks but actually own family offices. Is there even the remotest possibility that these people do not know what’s going on ?
Tony: Oh yeah. There are a lot of people who have out thought this thing themselves . So they made it so it’s possible. Don’t believe in it. And there are people who still, even though we are at this level, don’t have the inside connections that we have. The financial world is a big place. Everybody won’t know.
On Thursday I met with a guy who wants to come and meet with all of you. He works with Transamerica. They are one of the largest insurance companies in America and they offer all these packages with different rates (6%, 20%) They manage money that’s what they do. He wants to come to our event and he has no clue and this guy handles billions of dollars.
Question : Is Parliament still scheduled to meet and are they going to drag Maliki in ?
Tony: There is not going to be a no confidence vote. It’s not going to happen. It’s just not going to happen.
Q: Is that because of the position of Obama and our country ?
Tony: It’s because it wasn’t going to happen anyway. But something had to be in the news. There had to be a way to stall all this. Back in June and May when Talabani, Mesarati, Allawi all those guys flew to Washing ton for that weekend. Everything was finalized then, the numbers were put in place and the rest was just how it had to be perceived and they wanted it to be perceived. Maliki wasn’t going anywhere. They already know when Maliki is leaving. They already know who the next PM will be. It’s all planned out. Don’t even worry about that.
There is very good info out. There is some contradictory info out. There is a whole bunch of information that came out on the weekend that says this is about to happen one way or another. There is not a whole lot holding this back at this point. If I sounds like I am excited, its’ because I am. There’s good information and there’s bad information, but the bad information was even good because it was the opposite of what it has always been. Ok now we are getting it right. Now something is about to happen.
I think we are there. I think it is going to be a good rest of the month.
