Connecticut’s New Drone and Surveillance Program Is An Orwellian Nightmare

December 1, 2017
Connecticut’s New Drone and Surveillance Program Is An Orwellian Nightmare CT-police-drones-antimediaBy Nicholas West
Hartford – While a battle has been raging for years in Los Angeles, California over a proposal to give drones to the LAPD for use in limited circumstances such as counter-terrorism and hostage rescue, Hartford, Connecticut is apparently embracing the broadest possible scope for their new program of drones and surveillance cameras.
Unlike L.A., which saw fierce resistance mounted by civil liberties groups and activists such as the Stop LAPD Spying Coalition, there seems to be no such pushback in Hartford – in fact, part of the program involves citizen cooperation.
The Hartford program is an expansion of a fusion center network that is already in place called the Real-Time Crime and Data Intelligence Center. The current matrix of more than 700 cameras will receive an influx of $2.5 million more in 2018 to boost the number of cameras, as well as expand their presence into even more private areas:
Police are also partnering with residents to put cameras outside homes, offering better visibility of smaller streets. Residents can link the footage into the city’s network.
(Police Chief) Foley said some Hartford dwellers have already contacted the department about participating. Officers will determine what the need is in each area.

One might be excused for wishing to boost surveillance in order to thwart violence in documented high-crime areas, but the new program goes far beyond identification and quick response. In fact, it is admittedly going to be used for pre-crime detection as well as social engineering to better control what they are euphemistically calling “quality-of-life issues.”
Here are the supposedly outrageous threats and concerns that are being used to justify a completely Orwellian matrix of total surveillance and control.

  • New software will be used to analyze crime and traffic patterns and capture suspects.
  • Police will use the technology to crack down on quality-of-life issues, such as illegal dumping, ATVs and dirt bikes, motor vehicle violations, narcotics markets, car break-ins and larcenies.
  • “If a camera is watching a neighborhood and sees constant traffic going in and out of a doorway, it can tell that that’s where the drugs are being purchased.” — Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley
  • “It’ll help tell us where people are crossing the streets, where the most dangerous areas for pedestrians are. There’s so much they can build into it.”
  • Instead of engaging in high speed chases, police will now send drones to follow cars or ATVs.
  • The drones will monitor festivals, concerts, marathons and other public events in Hartford.
  • Footage from hundreds of cameras is fed into the center, and workers compile information from license-plate readers and a ShotSpotter system that tracks the sound of gunfire.

I hope I am mistaken in saying that there is not currently any resistance to the imposition of this spy network. The city claims that they still need to properly create the policy to incorporate drones into the network, so people need to speak up quickly if they care.
If any readers know of local civil liberties groups or activists doing their best to see that proper restraints are placed upon Hartford police, please leave the information in the comment section.

Connecticut is a jewish run state, with tons of wealth. Its a suburb of NY. Any and everything associated with an oligarchy is visible here..Its corrupt from top to bottom... And in case any of you are unfamiliar with a jewish community, many of them are the most self absorbed, self righteous and selfish people on the planet. Many, if not most jews, believe that they are the chosen ones and have a natural born right to rule...These cameras will protect these elite jews from all of us, or at least that is what they believe. I know this because I live here..

Ventura66

What you said was spot on topspin2...............they are certainly an odd lot that's for sure..........they are not even counted as Caucasians either during the census............well after you have lived around them long enough..........you know why they are so hated in Europe...........they do not assimilate.........and yes they believe that they are the chosen ones.............

topspin2

You are correct they do not assimilate. They dont need to. The courts will back them, the police will back them, and the community is blind of their intent. The town I live in is 50% jewish. The jews have been thrown out of 100 plus countries because they are parasites.

[1] On December 17, 1862, General Ulysses Grant wrote to the Assistant Adjutant General of the US Army:

"I have long since believed that in spite of all the vigilance that can be infused into post commanders, the specie regulations of the Treasury Department have been violated, and that mostly by the Jews and other unprincipled traders. So well satisfied have I been of this that I instructed the commanding officer at Columbus to refuse all permits to Jews to come South, and I have frequently had them expelled from the department. But they come in with their carpet-sacks in spite of all that can be done to prevent it. The Jews seem to be a privileged class that can travel anywhere. They will land at any woodyard on the river and make their way through the country. If not permitted to buy cotton themselves, they will act as agents for someone else, who will be at a military post with a Treasury permit to receive cotton and pay for it in Treasury notes which the Jew will buy at an agreed rate, paying gold."

Also, on December 17, 1862, General Ulysses S. Grant issued General Orders No. 11. This order banished all Jews from Tennessee's western military.

General Orders No. 11 declared:

"1. The Jews, as a class, violating every regulation of trade established by the Treasury Department, are hereby expelled from the Department.

"2. Within 24 hours from the receipt of this order by Post Commanders, they will see that all of this class of people are furnished with passes required to leave, and anyone returning after such notification, will be arrested and held in confinement until an opportunity occurs of sending them out as prisoners, unless furnished with permits from these headquarters.

"3. No permits will be given these people to visit headquarters for the purpose of making personal application for trade permits.

"By order of Major Gen. Grant.

I understand what is being said here but I have to take issue with stereotyping any peoples.
For the record I was born a Roman Catholic and indoctrinated to hate jews from an early age so I have no skin in this game.
There is a  difference between the zionists, mostly ashkanazi jews and the Sephardic Jews. I have a Sephardic Jewish friend who was born in Turkey and moved to Israel because of persecution by the Turks. He did no better in Israel because the ashkanazi zionists don't like brown people. So his family moved here and prospered.
Because a person is born into a community, religion, skin tone, etc does not make that person good or bad. The person's deeds matter.
The good Jewish peoples supported civil rights, woman's rights, etc, all things the zionists try to destroy. The zionists are destroying the Middle East and control our government. hillary, joe pedo biden, bush's are all zionists as is most of congress.

Understandable William...I speak not as an anti-semetic man, but from experiences I have had.  I have studied the Torah, the Talmud, and the Turkish Khazarians. The facts are what they are. History has proven that the jews as a population are parasites on humanity. And now we find the Zionists who control things that are for the most part supported by the masses of jews. So to attempt to separate the zionists from jews is for the most part not applicable. And you talk of civil rights, womens rights...Really...If my memory serves me, the minorities in this country are in the worst shape since slavery. Its all window dressing my friend....And womens rights, do you know what the origins of that were....To put more women in the workplace, to pay more taxes and to bring stress into family life. It also forced our children into state run facilities for early indoctrination...It has nothing to do with trying to help anyone...Read some information on the Rockefellers..They dont mind telling it like it is...

Having grown up in Rockland County, NY, I can attest to what many of the Jewish community are like, especially the Hasidic variety. As stated above they do not assimilate into the surrounding communities. They move into an area and begin buying real estate. Initially having several families and/or generations living in the same house. They open businesses with money they get from other jews and they primarily do business with other jews. As the neighborhoods and communities grow they become more and more demanding and will generally not allow local police into their communities. They open their own schools, and since almost every home becomes a synagog they don't pay taxes. They even had the audacity to go to the local Catholic hospital (which they used) and demand that they remove all Christmas decorations... that almost caused a civil war.
My wife who was a nurse, worked for a visiting nurses Co. One of her clients was an elderly jewish man (Orthodox) who was going to move into his daughtors home so they could keep an eye on him, but couldn't take care of him. They wanted to turn the garage into an apartment for him. Since becoming friends with the family, and being a contractor, they asked me about how things should be done. He also apologized and explained that he had to hire a jewish contractor to do the job, which I understood. He also told me that when the jewish contractor started screwing up that he could then hire me to come in fix things and finish the job. Although he knew it would cost him more that way, but it was what was expected of him in the community. They were a very nice family and I've had many other jewish friends but I certainly cannot refute the facts about many of the jewish people in general.

I have also had bad experiences with many Jewish people and I agree that the Hasidim are a very closed and closed minded group for the most part  I am aware of what Jewish groups do to destroy Christianity but that doesn't excuse the Spanish Inquisition. There are many good Jewish people. There are peace activists in Israel (http://jfjfp.com/?tag=israeli-peace-movement) that are given a very tough time by the satanist netanyahoo  so I can not condemn the entire group.
Anyone who claims to be "chosen" is a moron out of touch with reality, but there are many who even having been brainwashed by this idiocy have risen above it.
I agree that there were/are many ulterior motives in the civil rights and women's rights movements but if nothing else women and blacks can vote today. Sure it's attacked every day but a little progress has been made.
The love of my life's country was destroyed by satanic zionists but She was a devout Catholic and Her lord was a Jew.
I try to look at every individual as an good individual until they prove me wrong.
Peace.

I have had similar experiences Marty. I looked at a house and made a full offer price with both realtors there. The owners realtor called the owner and they gave me the verbal acceptance. I gave them a $20000 down payment and left.  I got a call that said that I needed to initial off on the lead paint question. I told them I would do it first thing in the morning. The home was owned by a jewish couple and the home owners Realtor was jewish. I get a call from my realtor the next morning at 8:15 in the morning saying they had sold the home..To make a long story short I filed a complaint against the realtor and we went in front of their board...What I found out was that there is no ethics in real estate deals. In Ct, a realtor can lie to you without and fear of repercussions. They acknowledged she lied about telling me the house was mine but because I did not initial the lead it was not a complete contract. The couple that purchased the home were jewish immigrants who received their down payment from the same synagogue that the sellers agent went to.... Lesson learned....The Talmud was written for a reason....And, they offered $1 more dollar than I did...

Well Top there's always NH, Try it you might like it. When we first moved up here it was great to get away from NY, the racism, the corruption, the overcrowding... I do still miss the jewish bakery and deli's. I've got a feeling that the few jewish families that are up here are trying to distance themselves from those hardcore orthodox groups.
As for your perspective of accepting people as individuals William, I don't believe Top or I disagree with you however that doesn't preclude being aware of factors that may influence peoples behavior, such as race, religion, political, etc.
It's no big surprise that we've wandered off from the topic of Drones in this thread. However the other aspect we almost went to was when we were talking about all the other countries that have sanctioned or expelled the Jews and why they are hated so much by others... I just have to shake my head in bewilderment when you look at the situation here in this country. Generally when a group of ethnic or religious people migrate into a country that don't assimilate, they are usually forced out. But here that would be politically incorrect and not to be tolerated. Look at the Muslim issue and any other ethnic groups. We have to have teachers, public service workers, etc. that now must speak numerous languages to accommodate these people rather than insisting that they learn english. Yet at the same time, we go to other countries and insist they turn their Gov. to a 'Democracy' like ours, and their banks have to report to the IRS. And you wonder why Americans are hated in other countries around the world...Yet everyone wants to come here.  :headscratching     I know the reasons, but who does this make sense to?  We are the most over regulated, controlled, slave nation, "Free" Country on the Planet...

Vermont or NH is an option..Should know in a couple of years..As for the sidetracking of the post, I think it ran the proper course. Its just that in the political atmosphere we live in the truth is not to be told...I do enjoy NH...Used to water ski there a few years ago....Well, maybe a bit longer...LOL
