July 2018 Witness statement as follows: 'Eye of God' spotted over Inner Mongolia in spooky cloud footage It is not clear if the footage was recorded at night or during the day, or whether the person sharing the clip had adjusted the exposure settings on the camera A spooky cloud formation has left locals staring up at the sky in Inner Mongolia. Described as the "Eye of God" it appears to look menacing, as the oval space was lit up by either the sun or moon in the centre, making it look like an eye was staring over the Earth. It is not clear if the footage was recorded at night or during the day, or whether the person sharing the clip had adjusted the exposure settings on the camera. The video was shared on Chinese social media and went viral after it was uploaded on Monday, July 1. It was recorded by a resident in the Hulunbuir Region in the north east of the country. It came to light just a day after another cloud formation appeared to show 'God walking across the sky'. But it was only when the video was uploaded that someone pointed out the strange shape which resembled a human body in the clouds - which some people are claiming to be God. Viewers said the shadowy figure looks like it has arms and legs walking between the bright patch in the clouds. The kids at the school spotted this strange cloud this afternoon in East Sussex.
