Austin Steinbart (Q) discusses Donald Trump's May 30th, 2017 Tweet that read "Despite the constant negative press covfefe"... The tweet was a misspelling of the word "coverage". Not only did this tweet go wickedly viral... As it turns out the "Volfefe Index" was created from it as well. The Volfefe Index is a stock market index of volatility in market sentiment for US Treasury bonds caused by tweets by President Donald Trump. Volfefe was launched by JPMorgan Chase on September 9, 2019. For May 31, the Google Search term "covfefe" surpassed the search term "paris climate" (in reference to the 2015 Paris Climate agreement); on the same day Trump indicated that the U.S. may withdraw from the Paris Agreement. - Troll Mastery at it's best. In May 2018, President Trump referenced the word by pronouncing it in a White House video about the auditory illusion Yanny or Laurel. Near the end of the video, Trump stated "All I hear is 'covfefe'." White House press secretary Sean Spicer also stated, "I think the president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant."
