In case you do not know what a freedom of information act is, it is a way that someone in the public can use the legal system to cough up documents about the truth of something. I have used them several times in the state of Nevada, sometimes they adhere the law and forward you the docs and sometimes they break their own laws and do not.
"The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) generally provides that any person has the right to request access to federal agency records or information except to the extent the records are protected from disclosure by any of nine exemptions contained in the law or by one of three special law enforcement record exclusions."
