Locals and authorities from the Mexican region of Chiapas continued investigating possible reasons why the Agua Azul waterfall has suddenly dried up, Monday. The popular turquoise cascades started drying up on Friday morning, and locals and authorities began following the river in order to find out the possible origins of the drought. Investigations are still continuing. Agua Azul waterfalls are one of the main tourist sites in the Chiapas region, and receive thousands of visitors every day.
