Hi, Folks -
The Twentieth Amendment (to whatever Constitution that is) sets Inauguration Day as January 20th. Period.
Since the 20th is a Sunday this year, there will be also a public, ceremonial swearing-in, on the 21st.
Officially, however, the oath has already been administered and taken. Technically, if it had not been, we'd have a 24-hour period with no President or Vice-President.

The original Inauguration Day was March 4, being the day of the year on which the original jurisdiction Constitution went into effect. It'll be interesting to see if something significant occurs on that date, this year. :)
