End of Ukania!

By Robbie the Pict

‘The Kingdom of Great Britain’ only lasted fron 1707 until 1801. The passing of the Ireland Act delivered a subtle name-change whereby the adjectival pre-amble ‘The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland’ became the name itself. A complete falsehood from the outset, neither singular or united. The Treaty of Rome, for example, was signed by ‘The United Kingdom’, something we surviving Picts have nick-named ‘Ukania’.
The Angles spent 600 years trying to kill off the real Britons, whose colours are green and white. They, like the Romans, failed. The Romans drove them North and then had to build Antonine’s Wall to protect themselves, eventually retreated further south to Hadrian’s Wall. They spat out the slang word ‘picti’ which translates in vulgar, dog-Latin as ‘Jessies’ or ‘Nancy-Boys’. This was because the Caledonians and other Britons who faced up to the Romans presented their professional fighters on the front line. These guys, called ‘gaeseti’ after the ‘gaesum’ or spear they carried as a principal weapon, spent the day and night before battle painting their bodies not blue, but green. That acted as a basic camouflage colour but on that green base they adorned themselves with gold depictions of their personal power astronomy. You were utterly in Zen going into battle as Leo with Taurus rising and Moon in Scorpio, feeling ‘centered’ as the New Agers might say. The Gaeseti taught the tribe members fighting skills, kept weapons in good order and still helped out with the harvest when the time came, but they did not cut their hair. This led to a posh Latin name for them ‘Comati’ simply meaning ‘long-haired’, giving the English word ‘comate’. The Romans had a vulgar and simple practice of cutting the hair of the colonised so that they see quickly if they were tamed serviles or not. The origin of a military haircut, short, back and sides. Calling persons whose hair you could not cut ‘jessies’ is just pouting petulence on the part of the inadequate and frustrated pretty Roman boys!
The Gaeseti were reputedly big on speech-play before battle, nowadays called psychological warfare, whereby they would line up and recite battle triumphs, but also how they had been to ‘your home’ and also the Roman Camp last night and fucked the women ‘including your sister!’ type stuff, how there would be no more food for weeks because they had attacked a supply convoy, the winter would be here next week, etc. Then they would run away for an hour and sit in the woods, making the Roman ranks fidgety and their commanders indecisive and nervous. They would light fires and roast meat, the smell of food creating more confusion. When it did come down to a face-off the Gaeseti picked their moment and formed up suddenly, with horrible punky face-paint, long hair, which they displayed to the Romans in a slightly gay way, along with a menacing offer to sodomise them till they screamed for their mothers after the battle. The long spear is a deadly weapon, even just slicing at the legs of otherwise well-shielded infantry. Their short sword was a stab and despatch weapon only.
In short, the Picts are just the ancient Britons who went North, the Welsh the ancient Britains who went West. We may yet reform to create New Britain, purge the islands of the Engli mercenaries and pirates and begin a Brave New World. We are re-birthing in the 21st Century which is a unique opportunity to re-introduce the concept of ethics and spirituality into human political arrangements. As we used to say before the ungodly arrived – ‘There’s only one of us – let us not self-harm’.
I will concede that the combination of the Scots and Saxons, tempered by the influence of some Christian organisations, did haul us out of a slightly wild millenium. Without that the Enlightenment of the last millenium could not have happened. However, this most recent millenium demands a cutting back on rampant greed and psycho-pathic power-grabbing. Settle down world there is plenty for everybody. The new millenium’s code must be ‘People before profit’.
Let’s see if we can find a Peoples’ Regent for Scotland who is a statesperson with gravitas, and a very clean tattie, and we’ll have a go at the janitorial duties required. Wish us luck with what might be an experimental working model.
I am of course partial to the ‘Fuck you’ sentiment, but on this occasion it has to be ‘Fuck you London’!
Be happily,
Robbie.

Scots have voted to stay in the UK, following an intense campaign which saw both pro-independence and pro-union campaign groups scraping for last-minute support. The ‘No’ campaign rallied 55 percent of votes against 45 percent ‘Yes’ votes.

One of the leaders of Scotland’s independence campaign effectively conceded defeat early on Friday morning as the counting was continuing.

“Like thousands of others across the country, I’ve put my heart and soul into this campaign and there is a real sense of disappointment that we’ve fallen narrowly short of securing a ‘yes’ vote,” Nicola Sturgeon, deputy leader of the Scottish National Party, told BBC Television.

Accepting defeat, Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond delivered his concession speech to his supporters and Scottish National Party activists, whose victory in least years’ elections was built on the promise of an independence vote.

“Scotland has, by majority, decided at this stage not to be an independent nation. I accept that decision and call on all people in Scotland to do so,” he said.

He added that the even a failure in referendum is important, because the level of support for a Scottish independence was massive enough to ensure that there would be no “business as usual” in the UK.

Representatives from the ‘Better Together’ group thanked Scottish voters, and hoped that the referendum’s end would result in a stronger union in the future.

British Prime Minister David Cameron stressed that the direct ‘yes’ or ‘no’ vote made the centuries-old debate over a Scottish referendum settled for this generation, or probably for a lifetime.

“It’s time for our United Kingdom to come together and move forwards,” Cameron said. “I am a passionate believer in our United Kingdom.”

He also pledged to deliver on the unionists’ promises made in campaign, changing things to the better for people not only in Scotland, but also in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Nick Clegg, deputy prime minister of the United Kingdom, said that he is “absolutely delighted” that the people of Scotland have voted ‘No’ in the referendum.

The people of Scotland have reaffirmed the bonds that bind them to the United Kingdom, said Alistair Darling, the leader of the Better Together group that campaigned for Scotland to remain part of the UK. He added that the majority of Scottish voters have chosen unity instead of division.

“We’ve taken on the argument and we’ve won. The silent have spoken,” he added. “We must now deliver on time and in full the radical package of newly devolved powers to Scotland. This referendum marks not only a new chapter for Scotland within the UK but also wider constitutional reform across the Union.”

While the ‘No’ campaign had been consistently leading in the polls since last year, their lead narrowed in the final months of the campaign, as the ‘Yes’ side built up a stronger presence at a local level and on social media.

Toward the end of the campaign, some polls suggested that the ‘Yes’ vote had a slight lead, although the majority of polls conducted in the UK and internationally concluded that the outcome would be too close to call.

While Scotland remains part of the union, the country’s relationship with the rest of the United Kingdom is expected to change considerably.

All three major parties have agreed to grant Scotland more authority over issues including welfare spending and setting its out levels of tax-decisions currently in the hands of the politicians in Westminster.

“I can say that I will personally seek to lead a debate on the floor of the House of Commons in the first week that Westminster returns after the referendum, with the specific aim of confirming the public and well-understood agreement on the process and timetable for further devolution” said former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

“There can be no doubt of the strength of the UK parliament’s commitment to change and no going back on the promise of further legislation,” he added.

Brown had also warned that if Scotland decided to keep the pound as its currency, it would be in a ‘colonial relationship’ with the rest of the UK.

However, there is currently no set date in which new devolutionary measures are to be debated in Parliament.

Scotland overwhelmingly rejects independence

Scotland Rejects Independence: But Video Shows Potential Vote Fraud

Posted on September 19, 2014 by Paul Joseph Watson

Footage shows ‘yes’ votes being added to ‘no’ pile

VOTE FRAUD IN SCOTTISH REFERENDUM? Scottish-referendum-600x375
Despite a ten per cent margin of victory for the ‘No’ campaign in the Scottish referendum, some supporters of the ‘Yes’ camp are pointing to videos which they claim show evidence of vote rigging.

Scotland voted to stay in the United Kingdom after voters rejected independence by a margin of 55% to 45%. The pro-independence campaign claimed 1,617,989 votes but was defeated by the ‘Better Together’ campaign which obtained 2,001,926 votes. The turnout was 84.5%.
However, almost as soon as the vote count began last night, some were pointing to alleged examples of tampering.
In the first example, bundles of referendum papers are seen on top of a table designated for ‘No’ votes and yet when zoomed in, the top paper on two of the bundles clearly shows an X marked in the box for ‘Yes’.
The second clip shows a man at a desk in a polling station writing on a piece of paper. Some claim this proves he is filling in referendum cards, although he could just as easily be tallying up votes.
The third example is a little harder to explain. It shows a woman at a polling station counting votes. She takes one paper from the ‘No’ pile and places it in the ‘Yes’ pile before taking at least two cards from the ‘Yes’ pile and placing them in the ‘No’ pile.
Police in Glasgow are also investigating at least ten cases of vote fraud where people turned up to vote only to find that their names had already been crossed off the list, suggesting other people were voting multiple times.
“Last night police officers were present at the count to remove the ballot papers and keep them as evidence,” reports the Daily Mail. “The papers were from 10 different boxes across Glasgow, and not concentrated in one area.”
While these videos by no means offer concrete evidence of vote fraud, they do feed into the sentiment that the British establishment was so panicked by the prospect of a ‘Yes’ vote, a likelihood which grew which after polls narrowed earlier this month, that it would go to any lengths to prevent Scotland from gaining independence.

Metro reports:
A video of a female vote counter appearing to place Yes votes in the No pile at a polling station has led to allegations by Scottish nationalists that the independence referendum was rigged.
Supporters of Scottish independence on social media – dubbed ‘Cybernats’ – have claimed that the video, taken at a Dundee polling station, and an image of a Clackmannanshire counting table show evidence that there was foul play in the election process.

However, the conspiracy theory was quickly dismissed by vote counters while exasperated commentators told No voters to ‘get a grip’, with one remarking ‘this is Scotland, not Sudan.’

The backlash from nationalists in the wake of the No vote is hardly surprising given the increasing hostilities in the run-up to the referendum.

News of voters being threatened, reporters needing security and politicians receiving death threats has marred the campaigns in the last week.

Officials at the referendum count in Glasgow are investigating 10 cases of suspected electoral fraud relating to possible cases of impersonation, where people pretend to be another person who hadn’t voted yet.

‘I think that’s a daft thing to do,’ said SNP Treasury spokesman Stewart Hosie.

‘The ballot papers have been identified, they will be taken away and fingerprinted, the police will do their job and I’m sure whoever has done it will be caught and sentenced.’
