Police-Enforced Quarantine Hits California Neighborhood – Residents Ordered to Stay Inside Due to Coronavirus

Sacramento police ordered all residents in a California neighborhood to stay inside on Thursday due to a coronavirus death in the area.
The local health department issued a statement after the police presence in the area.
This is a frightening development.
WIBW reported:

Sacramento County Sheriff deputies and Rocklin Police, some wearing protective gloves, converged on a residential street Thursday as a sheriff’s helicopter circled overhead, ordering people to get inside.
It was later learned that the first California coronavirus patient to die from the illness lived on this block.
The Placer County Health Department issued a brief statement shortly after the police presence, stating: “Law enforcement partners are currently responding to enforce a health officer’s order. We cannot share any additional information to protect patient confidentiality.”
The orders were given under sections of California Health and Safety Code that allows Placer Health to “enforce regulations requiring strict isolation, or quarantine if the action is necessary for the protection of the public health.”

Coronavirus patients experience certain symptoms before ‘tipping point’ of dying: expert

Coronavirus cases reach a “tipping point” where patients start to experience symptoms that indicate that they’re in danger of dying, according to a report. The patients who are at risk of dying may see the virus spread to their lungs, which can prevent their other vital organs from getting the oxygen needed to fight the infection, Bloomberg reported.
“When you get a bad, overwhelming infection, everything starts to fall apart in a cascade,” said David Morens with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “You pass the tipping point where everything is going downhill and, at some point, you can’t get it back.” Bruce Aylard, assistant director-general of the World Health Organization, said the escalation from mild to severe phases of the illness can occur “very, very quickly,” the report said.
The so-called tipping point likely occurs earlier in older patients or those who have underlying health issues — who have been reported to be at higher risk of dying from the illness, the outlet reported. Experts estimate there’s around 10 to 15% of patients whose cases become severe. Of that group, there’s another 15 to 20% of cases which then progress to critical, Bloomberg reported. The death rate has been estimated by the WHO to be around 3.4% — though the figure may be high because mild cases are likely underreported. Across the world, there have been at least 3,825 deaths as the bug spreads to over 110,000 people, CNN reported.  –NY Post

US hospitals are preparing for 96 million coronavirus infections and nearly half a million deaths from the coronavirus outbreak, according to leaked documents.
The spread of the deadly COVID-19 could be far worse than the government has let on, with almost 500,000 Americans expected to die from the virus and 4.8 million hospitalized, according to slides shown at an event hosted by The American Hospital Association (AHA) last month.


Alex Jones throughly dissects the coronavirus outbreak, from its man-made origins to its global economic implications based on hard scientific data and intel from the top experts in virology, bioweapons, and international law.
The slides, presented by Dr. James Lawler, a professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, suggest that hospitals must ramp up preparations now to reduce the death toll around the U.S.
At the time of the presentation last week, there were more than 80,000 confirmed cases around the globe — there are now over 100,000.
In the US there was around 60 cases and no deaths, but after just one week, US now has about 700 cases and 17 confirmed deaths.
The leaked documents appear to contradict President Trump’s assertion that the risk Americans face from the virus is “low.”
The elderly over 80 have about a 15% chance of dying from the disease, and people 60-79 are still at significant risk, according to the slides.
Nebraska Medicine stressed that the slides presented represented Lawler’s views and “his interpretation of the data available.”
“It’s possible that forecast will change as more information becomes available,” they said.
